The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are situated on 750 acres of rustic land. Thick with pines and cypress trees, it feels like a remote getaway despite its proximity to Walt Disney World Resort. The Cabins are not only temporary homes for Orlando guests, but the surrounding woods serve as a habitat for deer, rabbits and various birds.

Fort Wilderness Resort Cabins comfortably sleep up to six adult guests and are fully-furnished. Each Cabin features a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and patio. The kitchen is outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and two stove burners. This makes preparing some of your own meals a breeze, and can help you save money on your Disney World vacation.

It’s important to note the sleeping arrangements in the Wilderness Resort Cabins; the bedroom includes one queen bed and a set of bunk beds.   • Disney’s Magical Express: Enjoy complimentary transportation to and from the Orlando Airport onboard Disney’s Magical Express. This service drops you off outside the Reception Outpost.

  • Rentals: As mentioned, you can rent canoes and bikes at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. You also have access to other forms of transportation as well. Rent a golf cart, moped scooter, Segway and even roller skates during your stay.
