How to get into Oga's Cantina & Savi's Workshop
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened to the general public on June 24, which means that guests can now enter the land without a reservation. However, there are some things you should know before visiting A Galaxy Far, Far Away at the Disneyland Resort. Today's article will share how the brand-new Boarding Pass system works and how you can get into Oga’s Cantina and Savi’s Workshop.
What is a Boarding Pass & Is it Required?
The Disneyland Resort implemented a virtual queue system to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge called Boarding Passes. With a Boarding Pass, guests can enjoy the rest of the Resort while waiting to visit Batuu. The Disneyland app will have a dedicated module called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Status and Access available from the main page, on which guests can request to join a boarding group to visit the land, once they have entered the park. If guests don’t have access to a smartphone, they can retrieve a boarding pass from select kiosk locations inside Disneyland Park.
Boarding Passes are only required when the land reaches capacity. You can check to see whether boarding passes are mandatory either by checking the Disneyland app or the digital time board on Main Street, U.S.A..
