New Dining Experiences Coming to Disneyland

By Kimberly Fidler 01/06/2016

If you've ever been to Disneyland, you know that one of the highlights of a Disneyland vacation is the food. The Disneyland Resort is home to some of the most unique and delicious restaurants, and many of them are found right inside Disneyland Park. We're excited that Disneyland is expanding their wide range of dining experiences. Here's the scoop:

First, beginning on February 2, the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, beloved for its hearty Mexican platters served for lunch and dinner, will begin serving breakfast. Rancho del Zocalo is also popular because it's affordable, and one of only a couple locations inside Disneyland that features refillable soft drinks. We are so excited! The new breakfast menu will feature classic Disneyland favorites like Mickey Mouse pancakes, and new Mexican-inspired breakfast items. Breakfast will be available from park opening until 11:30am when it will begin serving lunch.

Also, the River Belle Terrace, a popular quick-service location in Frontierland, is transforming into a table service restaurant on February 10, 2016. The newly reimagined River Belle Terrace will serve barbecue ribs and chicken, and sustainable seafood. The menu will also feature tasty starters, sides and new signature desserts. Reservations will be available 60 days in advance through Disney Dining, and are highly recommended.

And, just in case you missed it, Disney also recently announced two new Paint the Night dining packages that also begin this month. Starting January 11, you can spend your time enjoying a delicious meal instead of hanging out on a curb to see the most raved about nighttime spectacular of the Disneyland Diamond Celebration, the Paint the Night Parade. This can't-miss parade features larger than life floats, live performers and over 1.5 million LED lights. There are two different Paint the Night packages available, and reservations are strongly recommended. Casual grab-and-go options for both adults and kids are available at Aladdin's Oasis and include reserved viewing near "it's a small world." Blue Bayou offers a more premium dining experience that includes reserved parade viewing along Main Street U.S.A.. At the Blue Bayou guests will need to make a Paint the Night package reservation and then order an appetizer, entree and dessert with regular dinner service. Both the Aladdin's Oasis and Blue Bayou packages will include a voucher with the location and time for the night's performance.
