Halloween Time always brings spooky fun to the Disneyland Resort, but this year is extra special. The events officially began on September 15, 2017 and will continue through October 31, 2017. For the first time ever, the Halloween Time has spread to Disney California Adventure Park. Watch our video to see for yourself what's new at Disney California Adventure Park for Halloween. Enjoy:
As a refresher from our video, here are the highlights of what's new at Disneyland California Adventure Park.
Entrance: There's a new entrance at Disney California Adventure Park for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Right outside the gate, you’ll see Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas welcoming you into the park.
Buena Vista Street: From there, you’ll notice Halloween Time has taken over Buena Vista Street too. And although we showed you the daytime version, the nighttime is even more impressive. Bubbling green fountains, flying bats and the Headless Horseman Statue all add so much to the atmosphere. You’ll also want to have your camera ready because the characters on Buena Vista Street are dressed for the occasion. Here, you’ll see 1920’s Mickey dressed up as a bat. You can even see Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy in their Halloween costumes as well.
Guardians of the Galaxy: As you know, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! is new to Disney California Adventure Park, but there's even more that's new for Halloween. During Halloween Time, it takes a spooky turn each night as it becomes Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark. You can start getting FastPass ticket for the nighttime version at 3pm every day during Halloween Time. Don't wait - these FastPasses go quick!
Cars Land: One of the most immersive Halloween Time changes has come to Cars Land, where the cute little town of Radiator Springs becomes Radiator Screams. You’ll see spooky cones at the Cozy Cone Motel, giant chain link spider webs and so much more. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree has transformed into Mater’s Car Graveyard Jam-BOO-ree. Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters has changed into Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-o-Ween. You'll also find characters in their "car"-stumes, so make sure to snag a photo!
Halloween Food: Halloween Time at Disney California Adventure Park goes beyond the décor and attractions. You’ll find festive fall treats around every corner. Whether it’s a bat sundae from Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, the Pumpkin Raisin Bread Pudding from the Pacific Wharf Café or a Mini Candy Cone Pie from Flo’s V8 Café, you’re in for a treat. Almost every restaurant has a special offering for the season.
