Disney Cruise Line: NEW Updates on the Disney Magic
July 30, 2013
Author: Kimberly Fidler

Disney Cruise Line is always winning awards for being the best in its class. One of the many things that keeps Disney Cruise Line at the top is that they are constantly updating their ships and adding magical touches. In the last two years Disney Cruise Line doubled their fleet with two new ships: the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. These larger ships have more staterooms and more features than the smaller Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. Not to be outdone by the two new ships, the Disney Magic is undergoing a MAJOR transformation. The refurbishment will be the biggest the ship has had since first setting sail 15 years ago. New water play areas, including an AquaDuck water slide, additions to the play areas in the Oceaneer Club and re-themed restaurants and public spaces will make the Disney Magic feel brand new!

One of the most popular features diners have enjoyed onboard the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream is the new show at the Animator's Palate restaurant. We could tell you about the exciting new technology that makes dinner so much fun, but we'd rather show you. Check out this video with a peek of what families will soon be enjoying on the Disney Magic:

The new features will be complete in time for October 2013 sailings. The Disney Magic will be sailing from Miami to the Caribbean and Bahamas this fall. The ship will move to Port Canaveral in Spring 2014 where it will regularly sail to the Bahamas before making its way across the Atlantic for Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Venice next summer.
