Disneyland's Fantasy Faire Officially Opens in March

By Kimberly Fidler 02/11/2013

The Disney Princesses are almost ready to move into their new home inside Disneyland. The all-new Fantasy Faire is set to open officially on March 12 and promises to be magical. This 15,000-square-foot village square is tucked right up to Fantasyland and Sleeping Beauty's Castle and will be a completely immersive, whimsical experience. Fantasyland-esque buildings will be situated around a main square where visitors will enter Royal Hall. The Royal Hall will feature three princesses, each in a separate room, where they will meet, greet and pose for photos with guests.

Also new to the Fantasy Faire is the Royale Theatre, an outdoor venue where guests will gather to hear the tales of “Tangled” and “Beauty and the Beast” with the help of Rapunzel and Belle. The 15 to 20 minute long show will play up to six times each day, so be sure to check your daily schedule so you can watch it.

No village is complete without a marketplace, and the Fantasy Faire is no exception. Fairy Tale Treasures will sell princess dresses and fantastical finds. Maurice’s Treats is a food cart that will sell treats and slushies available a keepsake goblet or stein. You'll also  want to keep your eyes peeled for views of Rapunzel's Tower and enchanted touches throughout the village.

The Fantasy Faire is sure to delight all who come. Be among the first to frolic through the new Fantasy Faire and book your Disneyland vacation today!
