Justin- Thanks for booking your Disneyland vacation with us! In order to redeem your e-tickets, you can take either a print out or your mobile device straight to the Disneyland Resort turnstiles after you go through security. A Cast Member at the turnstile (entrance to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure) will scan the barcode on the e-ticket voucher and give you a paper ticket to use for your vacation. Since you purchased with Disney MaxPass in advance, that feature should already be "loaded" on your ticket. Once you enter the Park with your paper ticket, use the Disneyland app to scan your ticket and have access to MaxPass requests. After you book, you should receive an email from us with confirmation regarding your hotel. If you have concerns, please call one of our agents to confirm details 855-GET-AWAY. Hope this helps!

Hi there. My wife and I just reserved a hotel and 3 days of tickets to Disneyland with park hopper and MaxPass. As we’re completely new to the Disney experience we just were wondering how the e-tickets work and what all we’re required to bring when redeeming them? Also do we get any kind of official email from the hotel confirming our stay? We’re taking a road trip down from WA and want to make sure all the ducks are in a row before we start travel in April.

Anonymous- If you scan the voucher/e-ticket before you have redeemed it at the Disneyland Resort, then you are linking incorrect information to the Disneyland app. It does not void your Disneyland Resort tickets, but it does mean once you enter the Resort you won't be able to use Fastpass or other features. What happens if you do scan the ticket into your Disney App before entering the park. That going to void by tickets?

You do not need to wait in line to redeem a hard copy of the ticket before going to the entrance gates. At the entrance gates, Disney will scan your e-tickets the first time to show them, and give you a hard copy of your ticket to use from that point on. I found out this time around you no longer do the paper tickets, and everything is e-tickets. I am landing early (very lol) in the morning the first day of my visit, and would like to NOT have to stand in line waiting for the ticket booths to open, and would rather be in the line for gate entrance (As that will be huge by the time the ticket booths open). Can I scan whatever it is you send me for my tickets into the Disneyland app in advance so I can just go right to the gate that morning, and queue up? In the past with Paper tickets this is what I would do, and it was awesome!

Great question. We don't accept Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal and electronic checks. :)

And you are fine to pick your tickets up 1-2 days before your selected date, although you could always put your arrival date as that earlier date if you'd like as well. If you booked a Disney hotel for later this summer and want to request a certain floor to stay on, how do you do it and when should you do it?

BME - You'll want to check the title of the ticket. If it states "Will Call" then it is set to be picked up at the ticket booth. You can always call our agents at 855-GET-AWAY to make sure that's set up to be mailed to you.

Jordan - When picking a date so close, our system should automatically change over to Will Call, so that your tickets can be picked up at the ticket booth and your hotel information emailed to you. You can call us at 855-GET-AWAY if that's not working for you.

Sue - At this time, our only location is in South Ogden, Utah. However, you can always call in and inquire about paying via check if that works for you. We'll just need to make sure that you're at least a few weeks from your vacation as that method takes longer.

Hi Tyler, If you have your paper tickets in hand, you will save time the first time you go into the parks because you won't have to pick them up at the ticket window. After that, each entry will be the same. :)

Is it faster to get into the park with paper tickets or the email?

Hi Jane! If you want them to be shipped to you by a certain date, then you'll want to input the day before that date when ordering Character Dining. If you're picking them up at the ticket booth, then the date needs to be similar to your arrival date. That will just make sure the tickets are available for you to pick up, you are then able to use them for whatever date your reservation is scheduled. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Do character dining tickets have to be used on a certain day (I.e. I have to put in my arrival date), or do we receive a voucher to use during any reservation date?

Hi Jamie! With out tickets, you'll add the MaxPass once you scan your ticket into the park. To prepare, just make sure you have your ticket and credit card information already in the Disneyland App. That will make it easy and fast to purchase MaxPass once you're scanned into the park!

I am using your layaway plan for 3 day park hopper. Can I add the Maxpass onto my tickets now or do i have to wait til I get there?

Hi Matt! The Peace of Mind can be used all the way through your travel dates. However, we do suggest (if moving your check-in date) that you call us before 72 hours before check-in occurs as the hotel can charge for the first night if changes are made within 72 hours of check-in. Hi mommamica! Our receipts do state that tickets are e-tickets unless otherwise stated. Where you chose standard shipping, your tickets are most likely physical tickets being sent to you. Hi! I just purchased 5 day 1-park-per-day Disneyland tickets my family of 4 for the end of April. I chose the Standard Shipping since our trip is still a couple of months away. My receipt says that all Disneyland tickets are e-tickets. I was under the impression that the tickets would be mailed to me and arrive in about 2 weeks. Was I mistaken? I would prefer to have tickets in hand rather than worry about picking them up at the ticket booth. Is there any way I can just have them mailed to me?

If you have your tickets sent to you in the mail, you'll be fine to begin using them anytime within a week of the date selected at time of ordering. If you are picking them up at the park, then you'll have a week from the selected date to pick them up and use them. I am interested in purchasing 2 tickets of 2-day disneyland park-hopper and 1-day Universal Studios. Our arrival date is on March 13 but we prefer to use it from Mar 14-17 of which one of these days will be a rest day depending on how tired we get. Hi Suzanne! Yes, your arrival date is most important for the hotel accommodations and any date-specific tickets. You will be fine to use your Disneyland tickets for the first three days and then the Knott's Berry Farm tickets on the last day. Hi Geno - how fun! You'll know which show you're getting because they are listed on the Fastpass machines before you pull your ticket. The 9:30pm shows go first. You'll likely want to head over mid morning, because tickets do go quickly. However, if you go too early, you'll end up with the earlier show. It's a little bit of a balancing act, but we're sure you'll get it! :)

Thanks for all the wonderful information!!!!! Question: My son and I are visiting Disneyland in mid-September. The Fantasmic show will be running on the weekend we attend. We plan on pulling a FASTPASS for this show. However, we would like to see the 10:30 Fantasmic late show not the 9:30 early show. When we pull a FASTPASS for Fantasmic, is it just a "lottery" on which show you will be assigned? Is there a trick to getting the late show with a FASTPASS? Hi Geno! Our Disneyland e-tickets cannot be printed at home and can only be picked up at the park's ticket booth with your photo ID. It's possible the Disneyland app scanned the incorrect bar code. Help!!!! On Aug. 21st, I purchased two 5-day park hopper disney ticket online for my visit in disneyland on September 12th, 2017. My eticket is valid though January 13, 2019. I also received a confirmation. All was good. However, I printed my eticket and scanned my paper eticket onto my disney app (I thought this was a good idea). I just looked at my Disneyland app and under the barcode it says my ticket will be void on Sept 5, 2017. What did i do wrong and how do I fix my error. Mouse stress!!!

Hi Mike! You will be able to upgrade your tickets to include MaxPass when you are at the park. Simply scan your ticket into the app and then choose to purchase the MaxPass. There is a special that says 5 day park hopper for the price of a 4 day but when I go to purchase it, it still states the purchase price is that of a 5 day. Is there something I am missing?

Disney will be introducing the MaxPass later this year that will allow FastPasses to be made on the Disneyland App, but only for the day of, not advance reservations like in Disney World.
